Not a list of software. Four areas of work where I take responsibility for the outcome.
Moving live systems without breaking them. I plan the sequencing, own the cutover, and make sure the environment that comes out the other side is faster, cheaper and easier to maintain than the one that went in.
Most organizations do not need more tools; they need the tools they already pay for to talk to each other. I connect CMS, LMS, CRM and media platforms so that work stops being manual.
Compliance work is engineering work. I document what a system actually does, close the gaps, and keep evidence a reviewer can trust — before an audit forces the question.
When an off-the-shelf plugin cannot do the job, I build the thing. Custom themes, plugins and internal applications, written to be maintained by whoever comes next.

The reported symptom is rarely the fault. I trace it back through the system until the actual cause is on the table.
Environments, dependencies and accessibility posture get written down first. That record is what makes a migration or an audit survivable.
Upgrades and migrations are sequenced so the people using the platform keep working through them. Downtime is a design decision, not an accident.

Built an authenticated inventory application using LDAP and Active Directory for access control, MySQL for inventory data, and PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the client-side view on a Linux server.
About
In 2008, in elementary school, I built a site about Barack Obama while he was running for president — background music (“A Change Is Gonna Come”), photographs, text about him and his family. It won my county's Technology Fair. That was the moment building for the web stopped being a hobby and became the plan.
What I do now is a more serious version of the same instinct: take something complicated, understand how it actually works, and make it work better for the people on the other side of it.
The through-line across the CDC, an international training organization and independent clients is ownership. I have been the person accountable when a migration has to land, when a server upgrade has to not break sixty plugins, and when an accessibility review needs documentation that holds up. That means I think about sequencing and evidence as much as code.
Away from the work: fishing, hiking, tennis, running, and martial arts — all activities that reward patience and repetition, which is probably not a coincidence.
